Sales Consultant (Residential HVAC Sales)

Our Comfort Advisor / Sales Representative is responsible for building a positive relationship with customers, closing sales, ensuring repeat business from existing customers, and making a positive impact within the company and the community. Strong presentation and people skills are required along with high levels of professionalism and integrity.

Skills Needed/Job Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of prior sales or business development experience in any customer-facing sales environment (preferably in residential HOME services).
- Strong presentation skills with great communication.
- A competitive, hungry, and eager attitude to achieve sales goals and commission targets!
- Be coachable & willing to learn NH Ross’ sales & services process (we are a Nexstar Network member!).
- Be goal-oriented and have a strong desire to succeed!
- Strong organizational and sales pipeline management skills.
- Good understanding of the psychology of sales.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug test/background check.
- Flexibility to work Sundays to accommodate prospective buyers and seasonal workloads during peak times.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Must utilize sales experience & strategies to do vigilant customer follow-ups and manage and generate business through referrals.
- Responsible for sales lead generation: door-knocking, canvassing, and/or cold-calling, etc.
- Meeting the client’s needs and wants while meeting the minimum budgeted sales as determined by management’s plan.
- Work within sales/service software and maintain accurate records/data.
- Develop relationships with customers and build rapport to help assess and satisfy customers’ HVAC needs.
