Commercial Plumbing Superintendent

Job Description:

We're seeking a seasoned Commercial Plumbing Superintendent with a Journeyman license to lead our team. As a key player, you'll be responsible for overseeing various plumbing tasks, from repairing leaks to pipe installations. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of hydraulic systems, and exhibit patience, manual dexterity, and meticulous attention to detail. Your primary objective? Ensuring the seamless operation of systems that transport water, waste, gases, or hot liquids.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and drawings to strategize plumbing layouts for waste disposal, water supply, and other systems.
• Execute precise cutting, assembly, and installation of pipes and tubes, taking into account existing infrastructure like electrical wiring.
• Establish and maintain water supply systems within new constructions.
• Identify and rectify issues with water supply lines, such as leaks.
• Conduct installations of new fixtures or replacements, including warranty-related work.
• Implement waste disposal and sanitary systems, ensuring functional DWV systems.

Requirements

• Valid Journeyman license.
• Demonstrated experience as a plumber.
• Proficient understanding of water distribution and disposal systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Working knowledge of heating, ventilation systems, and related appliances.
• Proficiency in handling plumbing tools and equipment (e.g., pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness and strength to navigate confined spaces.
• Completion of a diploma from a trade school or apprenticeship program.

Compensation:

Base Pay as high as $83,200 plus performance bonuses.
